About Laura
Laura Fleming is a UK based Actress & Presenter with 10 years experience on camera.
The Short Version
Laura has been training & working in the performing arts industry since 2007. Whether it be acting on a BBC set, singing in The Caribbean or presenting live TV, she brings energy and warmth to any project.
The Long Version
After training as an actress at Stratford Upon Avon Performing Arts College & on the Acting for Screen course at East 15 Drama School, Laura jumped straight into her passion of screen acting, gaining loads of experience on set in short films. She worked hard and eventually landed small roles on the likes of Channel 4’s Shameless (now streaming on Netflix) & BBC’s Father Brown.
In 2015, she won the Monologue Slam UK masterclass, winning a chance to perform at The Birmingham Rep Theatre in the Monologue Slam 3 Minute Heavy-Weight Round, where she went on to be awarded The Special Mention prize recognised by Spotlight UK.
During this time, she somehow found herself in a three part harmony group & was lucky enough to travel the world performing in some amazing venues as well as on prime time BBC show, “Frank Sinatra - Our Way”. Having gained so much experience, confidence & transferrable skills as a performer along the way, she naturally gravitated towards presenting and landed her very first audition as a live television presenter. Since then, she has trained with top TV Producers at The Presenter Studio in London to hone her skills and not only has her presenting career flourished, working on TV, radio & live events, her acting career has also grown & she has recently starred in a short film, “Swiped” currently streaming on BBC iPlayer.
Laura continues to work relentlessly towards her passion and is always looking for new projects to work on. If you would like to get in touch with Laura, please follow the link below.
